Dr. Bryant Speaks at Annual "Take Back the Night"

TAKE BACK THE NIGHT

SHATTER THE SILENCE. STOP THE VIOLENCE.

--

Manhattan College's fifth annual Take Back The Night was held in Smith Auditorium on Wednesday, April 3.

The program is fixated on putting an end to sexual violence, and, more specifically that on college campuses.

Dr. Roksana Badruddoja again led the way and fueled the production of the event, providing another insightful and empowering evening for the students of Manhattan College.

As with every year, speakers hit the stage during this well-attended event to take part in "Shattering the Silence and Stopping the Violence".

This year the speakers were Melissa Lozada-Oliva, a poet, educator and writer & Dr. Courtney Bryant, Associate Professor of the Manhattan College Religion Department.

The event was co-sponsored by Lasallian Women and Gender Resource Center, office of Diversity, Equity and Title IX, Student Engagement and Student Government.
